SB 607 - This act would require any candidate for the office of Governor, statewide elected office, Senate or House of Representatives to have no more than the following amounts in his or her campaign fund when filing disclosure reports, as of the last day of Session (Mid-May) in each election year:

$300,000 for Governor; $100,000 for Statewide elected office; $ 50,000 for Senate; or $ 20,000 for House of Representatives.

Any amounts in excess of these listed above must, within 60 days, be donated to a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity under the IRC or returned to the contributors.

This act has an emergency clause.
