SB 549 - This act requires any person injured as a result of a defect in any constitutional charter city's property to notify the mayor of that city, in writing, within ninety days of the injury. If no notice is given, the person loses his cause of action against the city. Current law makes the provisions of this act (section 82.210, RSMo) applicable to any city in Missouri which has a population of 100,000 or which may attain this population.
This act is identical to SB 177 (1995).
