SB 427 - This act would make it an unlawful practice for any long-term care facility to refuse to provide copies of documents which would substantiate written or oral representations regarding the quality of care provided by the facility or methods utilized for assurance or maintenance of such care.

A long-term care facility which refuses to provide copies of documents which reflect the facility's evaluation of the quality of care would be liable for damages in a civil action and a civil penalty of $1,000 per violation plus court costs.
