SB 308 - This act requires all pharmacists when filling prescription orders to use generic drug products with the same active chemical ingredients as the original drug product unless: (1) the generic drug would not cost the patient less; (2) the prescribing physician either verbally or on the written prescription indicates to dispense as written; or (3) the patient requests the prescription to be filled as written.
