SB 263 - This act establishes requirements which must be met by sellers of "assistive devices", defined as devices which enable a person with a disability to talk, see, hear or maneuver.

Assistive devices shall have at least a one year express warranty and if the device fails to function properly, it shall be repaired or replaced or the consumer's money, less a reasonable use allowance, shall be returned.

Disputes which arise under this act may be referred to an alternative dispute mechanism established by the Attorney General.
