SB 248 - The election authority in counties of the first classification may employ two attorneys who shall perform duties as assigned by the election authority. The attorneys shall be selected from lists submitted by the county committees of each of the two major parties. One shall be selected from each committee's list.

The notice of election and sample ballots which the election authority must mail to voters shall not be considered either a contribution or an expenditure to support or oppose any candidate or ballot measure.

When there is a measure on the ballot which requires approval by more than 50% of the voters, the ballot shall indicate the percentage required for passage.
