SCS/SB 191 - At the present time a fee of six cents per gallon is imposed upon the sale of wine, to be used to support the marketing of Missouri wines. This act increases the fee to ten cents per gallon and extends the termination date from 2001 to 2005.
A fee of $5 per ton of grapes produced in Missouri is to be
paid by the producer to the Director of Revenue. The revenue
derived from this fee shall be placed in the marketing
development fund.
