HCS/HBs 316 & 366 - School bus drivers must have vision of twenty-forty in both eyes or vision correctable to twenty-forty in both eyes. A person over the age of seventy may be licensed to operate a school bus if the applicant has held a continuous permit since the age of sixty-eight and if the applicant passes an annual medical examination. Permits for those over the age of seventy must be renewed annually. MICHAEL HOEFERKAMP

SCA 1 - DRIVERS WHO LOST THEIR PERMIT TO DRIVE AT AGE 70 MAY GET ANOTHER PERMIT UNDER THIS BILL. SCA 2 - THE FEE FOR A NEW OR RENEWAL SCHOOL BUS PERMIT IS INCREASED FROM $3 TO $11.
