HB 302 -- Alarm Businesses and Agents
This bill requires all businesses who install and maintain alarm systems to be registered and certified with the Division of Fire Safety in the Department of Public Safety.
The bill contains provisions regarding the division's ability to refuse and revoke registrations. There is an appeals process for those denied by the division.
The division is required to establish registration fees which may not substantially exceed the cost of administration. Fees paid will be placed in the Missouri Private Fire and Intrusion Alarm Business Fund created by the bill.
Any violation of this bill is a class A misdemeanor.
