HB 142 -- Motor Vehicle Violations
This bill requires that any fine authorized for violation of load limits or other penalty imposed under law for operating a commercial motor vehicle which is a violation of any applicable state or federal safety equipment laws or regulations be assessed against the person or company which employed the operator of the motor vehicle who committed the violation.
