HB 118 - Under current law, a court may order the suspension of a driver's license for failure to dispose of a municipal or county traffic violation in cities and counties with populations of over 100,000. This act allows such suspension for violations in any subdivision with a population of more than 1,000.

If any city derives more than 45% of its annual revenue from fines for traffic violations on state highways, all excess amounts shall be transmitted to the Department of Revenue which shall distribute those revenues to the school districts of the county.
