HB 80 - This act provides that in any fiscal year a maximum of 25 full-time state agency employees certified by the American Red Cross as disaster service volunteers may be granted leave from work with pay to participate in specialized disaster relief services for the American Red Cross for a total of 15 calendar days per state agency employee.
This act requires the Red Cross to verify the employee's
participation in the specialized disaster relief services and
prohibits discrimination against the employee for participating
in said services.
