SB 1528 - This act permits advanced practice registered nurses and physician assistants to perform admission physical examinations for individuals being admitting or readmitted into assisted living facilities or residential care facilities. Additionally, nurse licensing laws shall not prohibit the administration of subcutaneous injectable medications by a technician, nurses' aide, or their equivalent, provided the medications are prescribed by a physician for a long-term care resident.
