SB 383 - Under this act, a covenant not to compete between a physician and an employer shall only be enforceable if the physician is providing health care services in a clinical setting and the employer is not a health care entity owned or operated by a nonprofit corporation. A valid covenant not to compete shall be for a period of no longer than 365 days and not extend further than 50 miles from the physician's office address. This act is identical to SB 1396 (2024) and similar to HB 2754 (2024).
