SB 478 - This act provides that a designated real estate broker acting as a single agent for a buyer or tenant shall enter into a written agency agreement before, rather than either before or while, engaging in brokerage acts. This act is identical to a provision in HCS/SS/SB 61 (2025), in the truly agreed to and finally passed CCS/SS/HCS/HBs 595 & 343 (2025), and in the truly agreed to and finally passed SS#2/HB 596 (2025).
