Current Bill Summary

SB 1514 - This act provides that the maximum contaminant level of vinyl chloride in drinking water shall not exceed specific amounts described in the act. The Safe Drinking Water Commission shall promulgate rules to monitor vinyl chloride levels in drinking water in accordance with the act.

This act is similar to SB 694 (2023) and to HCS/HB 1378 (2023).
