SB 499 - Under current law, a portion of administrative fees charged by motor vehicle dealers in connection with the sale or lease of a vehicle shall be deposited into the Motor Vehicle Administration Technology Fund. The act repeals this requirement. Under the act, the fund shall consist of money appropriated to it by the General Assembly, and may also receive gifts, contributions, grants, or bequests from federal, private, or other sources.
