Introduced

SB 663 - Under this act, an individual, or their parent or legal guardian if a minor or otherwise appointed as such, may execute a voluntary nonopioid directive stating than an opioid shall not be administered or prescribed to that individual. The format shall be set by the Department of Health and Senior Services and the directive may be waived at any time in writing or orally. The directive may be submitted to a health care provider or hospital.

This act is identical to a provision in the truly agreed to and finally passed SS/HB 402 (2023).
