Current Bill Summary

SB 361 - This act requires certain licensing authorities to issue an exemption from continuing education requirements for a reporting period for a licensee who holds a current valid license and self-certifies to having actively participated in the practice of the occupation for no less than one thousand hours every twelve months during the applicable reporting period. Nothing in the act shall be construed to relieve a licensee from obtaining any continuing education required for the licensee to comply with federal law. The provisions of this act shall not apply to certain licensing authorities listed in the act or any person or entity whose licensure is subject to an interstate compact that has been adopted by this state.

This act is similar to SB 929 (2022).
