SB 293 - This act prohibits covenants not to compete to the extent that they apply to an employment arrangement wherein an employee is or would be paid hourly wages. This act is identical to SB 789 (2022), a provision in the perfected SS#2/SCS/SB 968 (2022), SB 77 (2021), and HB 1501 (2020) and similar to a provision in SB 578 (2021) and the perfected HCS/HB 1202 (2021).
