This bill establishes the "Officer Timothy Nielson Memorial Bridge" on CST Connecticut Avenue crossing over Interstate 44 within the city of Joplin in Newton County. The Department of Transportation will erect and maintain appropriate signs with the costs to be paid by private donations.

PROPONENTS: Supporters say that this will be a fitting tribute to Mr. Nielson.

Testifying in person for the bill was Representative Baker.
