SB 1231 - This act provides that any person who subcontracts to do work on the highways of this state may file a notice of the existence of the subcontract and of the amount payable under it with the entity issuing the original contract. The entity issuing the original contract shall not release payment under the original contract until the original contractor provides written releases from all subcontractors of the work who have filed notices under the act.ERIC VANDER WEERD
