SB 1205 - Under current law, a child between the ages of 12 and 18 years may be tried in a court of general jurisdiction and prosecuted under general law.

This act raises the age of certification of a child for trial as an adult to the age of 14.

This act is identical to HB 1745 (2022) and SB 446 (2021).
