HB 2416 - Current law prohibits motor vehicle dealers from selling or offering to sell motor vehicles away from the dealer's registered place of business, except under certain circumstances. This act specifies that motor vehicle dealers may deliver vehicles for test drives away from the registered place of business, deliver documents for a customer to sign away from the registered place of business, deliver or obtain documents away from the registered place of business, or deliver vehicles to customers away from the registered place of business.

This act is substantially similar to SB 1022 (2022).
