SS/SB 258 - This act provides that service members of the Missouri National Guard shall be considered as state employees for the purposes of operating state-owned vehicles for official state business unless the members are called into active federal military service by order of the President of the United States. This act is substantially similar to a provision in SCS/SB 120 (2021) and HB 391 (2021). KATIE O'BRIEN HA #1: CHANGES THE TITLE FROM "CLASSIFICATION OF MISSOURI NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERS" TO "MILITARY AFFAIRS". HA #2: DESIGNATES THE "SERGEANT ROBERT WAYNE CROW JR. MEMORIAL ARMORY" AND PROVIDES INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGNATIONS FOR MISSOURI MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENTS, PURPLE HEART RECIPIENTS, AND OTHERS. HA #1 TO HA #2: MODIFIES THE "MISSOURI MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENTS FUND" CONSISTING OF MONEYS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGNATIONS FOR MISSOURI MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENTS.
