HCS/HB 1212 - This act establishes the "Joint Committee on Federal Government Oversight" which membership as described in the act. The Joint Committee may review any executive order issued by the President of the United States if the order has not been affirmed by the U.S. Congress and signed into law. The Joint Committee may recommend to the Attorney General and the Governor that the Attorney General further examine the order in order to determine whether the state should seek an exemption from the application of the order or seek to have the order declared unconstitutional.
