SCS/SB 307 - This act specifies that the definition of "salvage vehicle" shall include a vehicle that has been declared salvage by, "or acquired by", an insurance company as a result of settlement of a claim; "provided that an insurance company that obtains a salvage certificate of title may apply for an original title if permitted to do so by law". (Section 301.010(54)(c)) This act is similar to HB 1138 (2021), SB 1001 (2020), and HB 2344 (2020).
