JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews:
- Senate Joint Resolution 38, which would ask voters to decide regulating the Legislature to limit the influence of partisan or other special interests;
- Senate Bill 684, legislation that seeks to establish the effective date of coverage of MO HealthNet services at the date of the participant’s application;
- Senate Bill 551, a measure that seeks to prohibit discrimination in insurance against any person based solely on the person’s status as an organ donor; and
- Senate Bill 951, a proposal that would establish the “Justice for Survivors Act” relating to forensic examinations of victims of sexual offenses.
