SB 1000 - This act provides that no investment asset or contract of a retirement system of this state, any political subdivision, or instrumentality of the state shall be purchased or executed unless all documents relating to such investment are public records. Any current investment assets and contracts are not to be extended, renewed, or continued past their original expiration date unless all documents relating to such investments are public records. Furthermore, all investment assets and contracts shall be presented to the governing board of a plan for approval prior to the investment of any funds. The salaries, bonuses, and all other compensation of all employees of the Missouri Department of Transportation and Highway Patrol Employees' Retirement System or of the Missouri State Employees' Retirement System shall be maintained and available through the Missouri accountability portal.
