SB 744 - This act repeals provisions of law authorizing the Secretary of State to open and maintain an archival facility in St. Louis and allowing the Secretary of State to receive any moneys or properties for the development or maintenance of such a facility. The act also requires all unobligated funds of the Missouri State Archives-St. Louis Trust Fund as of January 1, 2021, to be transferred to the general revenue fund. The act additionally repeals provisions providing for a funding source for the fund.
This act is substantially similar to HB 1526 (2020).
