SB 833 - Currently, offenders under supervision or in the custody of the Department of Corrections may not bring a civil action against the Department unless all administrative remedies are exhausted. This act also prevents inmates or detainees in county jails from bringing a civil action until all administrative remedies are exhausted. This act is identical to a provision in the truly agreed to and finally passed SS#2/SCS/HCS/HB 1854 (2020). KATIE O'BRIEN
