SB 1041 - Under this act, no physician or health care provider shall perform a pelvic examination of a patient prior to performing or inducing an abortion, unless the treating physician determines that a pelvic examination of the patient is medically necessary. The treating physician shall ensure that the examination is performed when medically appropriate according to his or her reasonable medical judgement. SARAH HASKINS
