HCS/HB 1804 - This act requires the Department of Natural Resources to assist small business permit applicants throughout the permit process, as set forth in the act. The Department shall maintain a permit assistance portal on the Department's website and shall provide a link to the portal to all permit applicants. The Department shall track the number of requests for assistance submitted through the portal and the timeliness of responses provided to applicants. No later than January 1, 2021, the Department shall post examplars on its website of complete permit applications for the most common permits issued by the Department.
This act is similar to HCS/HB 1158 (2019).
