SB 998 - This act prohibits any member of the General Assembly or such member's staff, employee, spouse, or dependent children from accepting directly or indirectly a gift of any tangible or intangible item, service, or thing of value from any paid lobbyist or lobbyist principal. This act is substantially similar to provisions in SB 588 (2018), SB 59 (2017), SB 632 (2016), SB 48 (2015), SB 536 (2014), and SB 38 (2013).
