Current Bill Summary

SB 930 - This act prohibits any person, association, corporation, partnership, institution, agency, or other entity from charging or accepting a fee, gift, donation, or other moneys relating to the expenses of administering an arrangement in which hospital MO HealthNet providers, or entities related to hospital providers, participate voluntarily to make redistribution payments from funds, which may or may not include MO HealthNet funds, to other hospital MO HealthNet providers, or entities related to hospital providers, with the reasonable expectation that participating hospital MO HealthNet providers shall receive a return on all or any portion of the hospital federal reimbursement allowance amount assessed under state law.

Any hospital that remits any fee, gift, donation, or other moneys to such person, association, corporation, partnership, institution, agency, or other entity administering such arrangement with the reasonable expectation of compensating such person, association, corporation, partnership, institution, agency, or other entity for the administration of the arrangement shall be subject to denial, suspension, or revocation of the hospital's license.
