Senator Eric Burlison Takes Oath of Office to Serve the 20th Senatorial District

JEFFERSON CITY – State Senator Eric Burlison, R-Battlefield, took the oath of office and was sworn in to represent the 20th Senatorial District during the first day of the 2019 legislative session. The 20th Senatorial District is comprised of Christian and part of Greene County.

“I am honored to serve the people of the 20th Senatorial District,” Sen. Burlison said. “I look forward to working with my fellow senators to make Missouri an even better place to live, work and raise a family. I am excited to return to the State Capitol, and I look forward to passing commonsense solutions that will improve the lives of all Missourians.”

Sen. Burlison previously represented the 133rd District in the Missouri House of Representatives. He is a Process Architect at Cerner, an international health care technology company.

The 2019 legislative session began Jan. 9 at noon and will conclude on May 17, 2019.
