Sen. Jeanie Riddle’s Capitol Report for the Week of Jan. 21, 2019

Introducing the Newest Member of My Team

On Thursday, Jan. 23, Lindsey Alexander joined my office to serve as my chief of staff. Lindsey grew up in Cedar Hill, Missouri. She is the second oldest of seven children. Before coming to the Senate, Lindsey worked as the director of governmental affairs and policy for the secretary of state’s office. She graduated summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in political science. Lindsey and her husband, Brandon, live in Jefferson City. In their spare time, you can find them exploring our state’s beautiful natural resources. They both enjoy to bike, hike and camp their way throughout the Show-Me State.

Finally, I would like to thank Zach Monroe for his numerous years of service to my office. Zach has been with me from the beginning of my time in the Missouri House of Representatives and continued to serve my office in the Missouri Senate. I am extremely grateful for Zach’s counsel and his countless hours of service to the residents of the 10th Senatorial District. He was a wonderful public servant and a valued part of my office. While I am sad to see him go, I am extraordinarily thankful for Zach’s many years of service as my chief of staff. I wish him, his wife Brittney and their son Oliver health and happiness as Zach begins a new chapter in his life.

I am excited to welcome Lindsey to my office, and I am confident she will be a wonderful addition to my staff.
