JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Tony Luetkemeyer, R-Parkville, discusses House Bill 445, legislation that seeks to prohibit lobbyists from giving gifts to local government officials; Senate Bill 184, a measure that would modify provisions relating to job training; Senate Concurrent Resolution 14, which would authorize the Office of Administration to execute and deliver a financing agreement for payment of debt service on transportation bonds issued by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission; Senate Joint Resolution 14 and 9, which — upon voter approval — would modify term limits for various elected public officers; and House Bill 821, companion legislation to Senate Bill 424 — which Sen. Luetkemeyer sponsors — that seeks to establish the Land Bank Act, which would authorize St. Joseph to create a land bank.
