SCS/SB 474 - Under this act, institutions of higher education shall be permitted to enter into long-term concessions, which shall include a license or lease for the development, finance, operation, or maintenance of a project, with a private developer to construct, finance, operate, and maintain a project, in exchange for annual payments. Nonperformance shall result in the abatement of such agreement. This act is identical to a provision contained in SS/HCS/HB 1088 (2019), and is substantially similar to HB 1099 (2019). JOSIE BUTLER
