Introduced

SJR 9 - This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, prohibits any person from being elected to the office of Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, or Auditor more than twice beginning with elections held in 2020 for Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and Secretary of State, and beginning with the 2022 election for Auditor. Any person who holds such an office for more than two years of a term for which another person was elected shall not be elected more than once to that office.

This amendment is substantially similar to HJR 51 (2018), SJR 14 (2017), HJR 7 (2017), and HJR 11 (2017).
