SB 352 - Under this act, physicians, health care practitioners, and mental health professionals may annually complete up to two hours of cultural competency training, which shall qualify as part of the continuing education requirements for licensure as a health care professional. Psychologists, behavior analysts, professional counselors, social workers, baccalaureate social workers, and marital and family therapists are required, under this act, to complete two hours of cultural competency training as a condition of initial licensure and renewal. This act is substantially similar to HB 307 (2019) and similar to HB 2379 (2019). JOSIE BUTLER
