HCS/HB 220 - This act provides that real and tangible personal property associated with a project which uses wind energy directly to generate electricity shall not be assessed as such property is currently assessed for public utility companies, but shall instead be assessed as local property by the county assessor in which the property is located. This act is similar to SB 72 (2019), HB 835 (2019), and HB 1046 (2019). JOSHUA NORBERG
