SB 243 - This act subjects all property sold or pledged to a pawnbroker to a hold order for a minimum of fifteen days in which the pawnshop is open to the public. While the property is subject to this hold order, it cannot be sold or otherwise be disposed of by the pawnbroker. All property sold or pledged to a pawnbroker may still be subject to subsequent hold orders issued by law enforcement agencies. CHARLEY MERRIWEATHER
