HB 267 - This act permits any school district to offer students an elective social studies course on the Old Testament of the Bible, the New Testament of the Bible, or a course which includes both the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible, in order to teach students biblical content. A student shall not be required to use a specific translation of the Old Testament or New Testament.

Such courses are required to maintain religious neutrality and accommodate diverse religious views of students in the school. Courses shall not endorse, favor, promote, or disfavor any particular religion or nonreligion.
