HB 646 - Under current law, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education pays monthly to each sheltered workshop a sum equal to the amount calculated under statute, but at least the amount necessary to ensure that at least $21 is paid for each 6 hour or longer day worked by a handicapped employee.
