HCS/HB 1158 - This act requires the Department of Natural Resources to assist small business permit applicants throughout the permit process, as set forth in the act. If the Department fails to provide the required assistance, the Department shall reduce the fees associated with each permit it issues to the applicant by an equal amount to the costs the applicant incurred to seek assistance from outside sources.
