SB 237 - This act modifies that structured cognitive behavioral intervention program into which a court can order a person on probation to be placed. Additionally, upon a recommendation from a court, the Department of Corrections will have sole discretion on the placement of an offender into a structured cognitive behavioral or institutional treatment program based on the Department's assessment and available space. Finally, this act repeals a section which establishes and governs the current Missouri postconviction drug treatment program. CHARLEY MERRIWEATHER
