JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Sandy Crawford, R-Buffalo, has earned ‘Legislator of the Year’ honors from the Missouri Association of Career and Technical Education (ACTE). The award was given at Missouri ACTE’s recent annual convention in Springfield.

“I am humbled and honored by this recognition from such a great group,” Sen. Crawford said.

Missouri’s ACTE promotes the development of vocational-technical education within the state of Missouri. Special Emphasis is placed on continued support of vocational-technical education at the secondary, post-secondary and adult levels, while fostering partnerships with business and industry in the training and retraining of the Missouri workforce.

“Again, I would like to thank everybody at Missouri ACTE for giving me such a high honor,” Sen. Crawford said. “I will continue working and fighting for students not just in the 28th Senatorial District, but throughout our fine state.”
