JEFFERSON CITY — Senator Bill Eigel, R-Weldon Spring, is pleased to join other community leaders in welcoming Amazon to St. Charles County. Amazon has chosen St. Peters as its first Fulfillment Center location in Missouri. The facility is expected to be more than 800,000 square feet and provide 1,500 full time jobs with full benefits.
“This is outstanding news for my constituents and for the state of Missouri,” Sen. Eigel said. “This new facility will provide not only new employment opportunities for my constituents, but offer the type of jobs that are friendly to growing families.”
The company offers comprehensive benefits including retirement, disability insurance and Amazon healthcare and more to its full-time employees.
“St. Charles is the fastest growing county in the State of Missouri and this is yet another example of why Missouri should keep taxes low and adopt St. Charles County’s economic policies,” Sen. Eigel said.
