JEFFERSON CITY – The signing of Senate Bill 564 into law demonstrates that Missouri lawmakers can come together to forge compromises and make tremendous bipartisan progress on issues of significant importance to Missourians. This law will help modernize Missouri’s aging energy infrastructure, while creating jobs and bringing much needed stability and predictability to customers’ rates with up to a three year rate freeze. Through this new law, Missouri will have the strongest rate cap in the nation.
